Sales Consultant Job Description

Job Description:

  • Locate and contact potential clients to offer the firm’s advertising services.
  • Explain to clients how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services most effectively.
  • Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services.
  • Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to new and existing clients.
  • Deliver advertising or illustration proofs to clients for approval.

Requirements:

  • Have own transportation for occasional client visits.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, being persuasive and attentive to clients’ needs.
  • Proactively seek new clients and maintain relationships with current clients to meet sales quotas.
  • Possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and track their progress effectively.
  • Demonstrate confidence when contacting potential clients.
